NAV 2009 - Have seen instances where a work order is released for a component item to be due on a given date (say June 20). Additional demand for the same item is entered, and the date required might be a couple weeks later (say it's needed July 8).
Issue is that it seems that NAV recognizes that there is already a released order for the component due 6/20 - so it plans the additional requirement to also be due 6/20, when in fact it is not needed until July 8.
This seems to be a fairly new occurrence in NAV, only happening the past month or so.
Is there some setting that causes this to happen?
