Is there any delivery date control method (any of Sales Lead time,ATP,ATP+Issue Margin & CTP) available in AX 2012 considers the on hand status & Purchase Lead time/Production Lead time of components (Purchased/Produced) by which system suggests the possible ship date during sales order confirmation of the Finished Goods in AX 2012 ?
Scenario: One FG requires two items Item1 : 2 No & RM1: 2 Nos
Item 1 is Production item (Lead time : 14 days)& RM1 is procured item (Lead time: 7 days).
Stock status as on date : Item1: 1 no & RM1 : nil
Now for Selling FG still Item1 : 1 no required & RM1 : 2 nos required.
Expectation : Now during Sales order entry system should consider on hand status of items & Purchase/Production lead times (maximum among all balance items) for balance item & then suggest the ship date.In this case it should take after 14 days.
Can any of the delivery date methods available in AX 2012 (Sales Lead time,ATP,ATP+Issue Margin & CTP) fulfill the requirement ?
Also wanted to know the functionality of Sales Lead time,ATP,ATP+Issue Margin & CTP.
