GP 10 Fixed assets: asset is 'inactive' even though asset says it is active

Hello,

     I have a problem in GP 10 that i can't quite figure out. We have a small number of assets in GP 10 that can't be brought up on the asset screen because we get an error stating it is no longer active and the data cannot be viewed. However, when we query the DB directly for that asset, i can see that the asset status is set to 1 ( meaning active: http://victoriayudin.com/gp-tables/fixed-assets-tables/ [FA00100.ASSETSTATUS] ). the exact error that GP is giving me is "Asset: ABCDEFG suggix 1 is not an ACTIVE asset and can not be accessed via cards."

    So, if the asset status in the database is 1/active, but the asset general information screen is telling me that asset is not active, does anyone know where this asset status really exists or what this error message means?
